North Bondi…..a little more calmer than the Bondi I’m used to. Coffee shops up side streets, Makeshift tables with balancing coffee cups and broadsheets. This is the Bondi I love. Last weekend, I had the pleasure photographing and meeting Kristy from Kristy Who blog. She made the trip up from Melbourne and was nice to meet a fellow blogger that has monochrome on the brain as much as I do! The morning of this shoot, I also photographed Alisha (stay tuned for this lifestyle post) so wanted to feel relaxed and comfortable to head for coffee with these Asian babes. Beginning Boutique is a new brand for me, but love their bohemian approach to basic essentials. Playsuits are always in my wardrobe and love throwing one on for the beach or a casual drink in the sunshine. So as soon as this polka dot beauty came into store I knew it was made for me! I'd just like to add that these $10 shoe beauties I bought at Bondi markets currently have hollow heels, as the seller sold them with some temporary filler, Alisha just reminded me over text I had the poorest quality shoes of the day lol!
It’s officially the first day of Autumn in Australia, and although it was close to 34 degrees today, last weekend the temperature was a lot more manageable and required a leather jacket…YES! Seriously can’t wait for more days like last week. I think my monochrome wardrobe will continue into the colder months, and have already started a mood board on my bedroom wall with clean finished neutrals and oversized knits. Us Brits are well versed in Autumn!
It seems now March has ticked over, there are lots of exciting projects happening. One being behind the scenes photography for Dricoper Denim and of course Sydney Fashion Week in April. I’m looking forward to this years, as I will know more people; and will be going there with an aim to produce great behind the lens content to give you all a feel for what the ladies will be rocking this year. There’s also a big trip in the works to Europe this September, and a country I’ve never visited. Hand in hand with a British babe with a passion for content creation too. I better get saving and planning!
