Flares: 70’s, flower power, big hair and rose tinted sunglasses. That’s the decade that’s in full swing at the moment. I was memorised by London Fashion Week last month. An array of full tan looks. Suede complimenting pencil skirts, neck scarfs and so much more. In December when I visited my family back in the UK, they couldn’t quite believe my excitement over venturing to H&M. Firstly, it’s a store I have had withdrawals from since last April, and secondly the European high street chain never fails to disappoint for basic items merchandised with risky fashion. I bought these flares back home on my trip and loved the soft silk and for once, they weren’t too long (wow). I wasn’t too sure at first but after looking at them long and hard I just had to have them. I really wanted to shoot this look back in the UK, but unfortunately my boater hat didn’t arrive in time and knew this straw number would compliment this look channelling easy breezy 70’s vibes. Also, this is the best bag I have ever bought in the sale!! $30 in the H&M Sydney it’s literally my favourite and you’ll be seeing it a lot more in the coming months!
As you know, Andrea and I travelled to the Central Coast last month and as soon as I saw this house I fell in love. Sea views, all white structure and blue tinted windows. An Instagram dream! Well, in my case anyway. As it’s actually Autumn now (touching on 29 degrees today) I am craving knits. Lots of them, layered with full length coats, over the knee boots and so on. I thought it would be appropriate to blog my first knit of the season. A sleeves one in this case, which I can see me investing in lots of this season!
