Yesterday I returned to one of my favourite places…. Paris. It’s funny how you look at a city differently when here for different reasons. I made the 55 minute flight from my home town to France purely for my blog and to collaborate with some fellow bloggers. Instagram is the place I’ve met the majority of bloggers, and it’s crazy to think that is how people can be connected in this day of age. We are all passionate about our work, love styling new looks and have to meet in cafes with the right tables and lighting! In our own little world, we are crazy girls that need things just so!
I am still a little jet lagged after only landing from Sydney last Friday, but was thrilled to finally meet Nikita from Meet Me In Paree blog. I’ve been following her from the start and her breakfast shots are just the best! I love her approach to style and the classiness of her posts, so was ready to get stuck into photographing her for the new section of my blog: Boho Behind The Lens. This is a new segment I have introduced as want to share my passion for behind the camera. I love streetstyle and photographing bloggers in their stylish threads, so why not have it’s own page! Each week I will be showcasing the bloggers I am collaborating with, so watch this space!
Todays outfit I channelled ‘winter white’ although the material of the outfit was nonetheless summery! It was bitter on the streets of Paris but that didn’t stop Nikita and I all in the name of fashion. I adore the movement of these trousers and would you believe I picked them up at the Camilla and Marc sample sale for $10! Pleats, yes please. The top and bralet I’m wearing is by an Australian brand called Black By Geng. I adore their minimalistic pieces and love how the top flows nicely with the trousers. As you’ve probably noticed I have changed my blog name today! It’s been a month in the making and thought that it was more appropriate. In Sydney in the hotter months (and on my relaxed days) I love wearing boho inspired looks, yet on the colder days and when at my job, tailoring is something I also like to wear. So Boho Tailor seemed fitting.
As you have probably noticed, my website has had a refresh too. Thanks to the guys at Pipdig it’s more contemporary and has all the tools I need in order to keep you up to date with both my blog and the photography I’m delving into.
It was such a pleasure having afternoon tea with Nikita today at the most Parisian place I could imagine, and was a blessing the rain held off!
